Grayhawk is a community in north Scottsdale where the gorgeous views of Pinnacle Peak and the McDowell Mountains help draw many prospective home buyers.
The Pinnacle Park Area and Deer Valley Road, as this map shows, border this community to the north. Scottsdale Road and the eastern fringe of community of Desert Ridge define the western boundary of Grayhawk, while adjacent south of it are Arizona State Route 101 and the Kierland Area. Pima Road delineate this community’s eastern boundary from the neighborhoods of Ironwood Village, Pima Acres, and DC Ranch and Silverleaf.
Grayhawk consists of nearly 3,800 residences within two distinct but interconnected neighborhoods: The Park and the Retreat Village.
The Park is further split into 14 subdivisions, six of which are made up of townhomes or condos. The Retreat Village, on the other hand, is comprised of two gated and guarded subdivisions—the Raptor Retreat and the Talon Retreat. All told, these two Retreat Village subdivisions combine for 17 neighborhoods, two of which are comprised of condo units. The condo neighborhoods are separately managed by a sub-association under the Grayhawk Community Association.
Sales listings of single family homes for sale at Grayhawk can start from residences with floor areas of about 1,900 square feet built in the late 1990s with three bedrooms and two baths. Levelling up a search can lead to tours of million-dollar homes constructed in the early 2000s with floor plans in the 5,000-square-foot range designed with four to five bedrooms.
For Grayhawk condos and townhouses, would-be buyers can explore listings at the Park neighborhood’s Encore subdivision. Built in 2009, these residences are typically in two-bedroom designs within living areas of between 1,350 and 2,550 square feet.
